Tell me more about MD Lash Factor™.
Formulated by physician Dr. Susan Lin, an ObGyn (Obstetrics and Gynecology), MD Lash Factor™ is a unique eyelash conditioner that promotes the appearance of longer, thicker, and fuller eyelashes.
When will I see results?
Results appear in about a month – that’s 4-5 weeks. However, in clinical trials some people experienced a noticeable difference in only a week!
Do I need to keep using it to maintain results?
No. If you’d like to maintain results, just use it about 2 or 3 times a week.
Is it permanent?
No. Once you stop using it, your eyelashes will return to their regular length.
How do I use it?
After removing contact lenses and cleansing the face at bedtime, gently wash around the eyes with mild cleanser or mild soap. Then, apply a small thin line of the product along the base of your upper lash line, in the same way as you would with liquid eyeliner (above the lash line, rather than below the lashes). Don’t use a lot – just a small amount in a single stroke is necessary only once a day. It is not designed to be applied to your actual eyelashes.
Apply a bit only once a day to achieve optimal results since excessive use can lead to permanent darkening of the skin around the eyes and the iris.
Do not get in the eye.
Can I still follow my regular skincare regimen?
Of course. Just remember to apply MD Lash Factor™ right after cleansing and before using your skincare products.
Is it safe to use MD Lash Factor™ if I have permanent make up?
Yes. The product does not discolour or fade permanent makeup.
How about my eyebrows? Can I use MD Lash Factor™ on them?
Sure! Just use it in the same way as you would for your eyelashes, but apply it to the spots on your eyebrows that need improvement. Great for those overplucked and sparse brows!
How about my lower lashes?
It is safe to use MD Lash Factor™ on your lower lashes.
Who shouldn’t use MD Lash Factor™?
According to the manufacturer, it is recommended that women who are pregnant or breast feeding avoid using MD Lash Factor™ because the product has not been tested under all possible conditions. They also recommend that you don’t use it if you’re trying to get pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
It is also unsuitable for individuals who are taking glaucoma medication or undergoing cancer chemotherapy. Please consult your doctor before using if you’ve had and eye infection, eye surgery in the last 6 months, or been prescribed eye medication. Do not use if your eye or eyelid is scratched or injured.
Is MD Lash Factor™ safe?
Yes. MD Lash Factor™ is hypoallergenic, paraben free and has been tested by dermatologists and opthamologists. A number of clinical trials have been performed to prove its effectiveness and safety.
Are there any negative side effects or risks?
Like any cosmetic product, there may be some negative reactions related to MD Lash Factor™. There have been reports of mild irritation where the product was applied. Discontinue use in the event irritation occurs. If irritation occurs following the first application, reduce the frequency of usage until the lid margins are no longer irritated or discontinue use. Consult a physician if the irritation is persistent.
A study has shown that when used as directed, MD Lash Factor™ had no affect on visual acuity, cornea or intraocular pressure. There were no complications reported.
Can I use it if I wear contact lenses?
Yes. A study has declared that the product is safe for individuals who wear contact lenses.
Can I use it if I have sensitive eyes?
Yes. A study has declared that the product is safe for individuals with sensitive eyes.
What’s the difference between MD Lash Factor™ and other products?
The active ingredient in MD Lash Factor™ isn’t a drug, so the product is officially recognized as a cosmetic and eyelash conditioner. Other products generally contain bimatprost or prostaglandin, a drug that is commonly used to treat glaucoma. That’s the key difference between MD Lash Factor™ and many of its competitors. As a result, there are far fewer side effects related to MD Lash Factor™.
How does MD Lash Factor™ work?
The active ingredient helps to condition the eyelashes and improve their appearance, particularly related to length and thickness.
